Atkins Kroll is seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across Guam and Saipan. This role is responsible for executing the Inchcape HSE strategy, embedding a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement through risk management, compliance, injury prevention, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders and regional HSE teams to implement global HSE frameworks locally, strengthen governance practices, and support safe, sustainable operations across all business entities.
What you’ll do
- Lead implementation and ongoing management of the Inchcape Group HSE Strategy across Guam and Saipan.
- Maintain and continuously improve safety management systems including compliance, incident, contractor, audit, policy, and training modules.
- Develop, implement, and monitor local HSE standards and procedures aligned with global requirements.
- Deliver HSE training programs and build capability across management and operational teams.
- Partner with leadership teams to conduct site reviews, audits, and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate business risks.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, insurers, and external stakeholders including OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation partners.
- Lead injury management and return-to-work programs to improve employee outcomes and reduce business impact and claims costs.
- Monitor, analyze, and report HSE performance indicators and provide executive-level reporting and recommendations.
- Manage internal and external HSE audits and support compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive action plans, continuous improvement initiatives, and engagement through HSE committees and governance processes.
- Support business operations through proactive consultation, coaching, and implementation of best practices.
- Promote a culture where safety accountability and operational excellence are embedded at every level.
About you
- High School Diploma or GED required; formal qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across complex or multi-site operations.
- Experience managing injury management and workers’ compensation programs with demonstrated performance outcomes preferred.
- Lead Auditor qualification in Occupational Health & Safety preferred.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent training experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required and ability to travel as needed
- Strong knowledge of safety management systems, compliance programs, and risk mitigation practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence teams without direct authority.
