SUMMARY

The Info Tech Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT systems, ensuring optimal performance of hardware and software, and providing technical support to staff. This role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring data security.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware/software support, training, and special projects
  • Implement data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems
  • Assist in special projects including network related wiring plans, system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving
  • Maintain LAN user documentation including hardware/software applications, support logs, IP address schemes, and other related information
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and software
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware/software issues.
  • Establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security
  • Perform general maintenance of all hardware and back up of data and software.
  • Maintain a library of documentation covering application software, hardware operations, operating procedures and maintenance agreements.
  • Train and assist users in proper usage of computer-generated reports.
  • Perform administrative duties such as ordering computer supplies and transferring tapes to safe deposit box.
  • Assist user in the selection/installation of new application software and hardware
  • Implement telecommunications operational procedures
  • Create and/or modifies voicemail and call features
  • Install telecommunications equipment and provides support for handsets, voicemail and new/emerging telecommunications-related technology; inventories telecommunications equipment
  • Create, Update and Close the IT Service Management Tickets assigned to the IT Group on time on proper Service Level Agreement.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Attends department meetings

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years in IT related roles and customer service experience
