SUMMARY

The Sales Lot Agent is responsible for keeping vehicles in the dealership lot neat and orderly, assists in the movement and arrangement of vehicles, and ensures all vehicles are clean and ready for delivery to customers. This position also maintains the cleanliness appearance of showroom and mega lot, monitors tire pressure of vehicles, and adds air and fuel as needed.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Greets and assist customers by directing them to the dealership personnel.
  • Arranges vehicles on the lot in an orderly manner, ensuring they are easily accessible for customers and sales staff.
  • Keeps track of vehicle locations and ensure proper tagging or labeling.
  • Delivers vehicles to sites and locations as required by management.
  • Regularly inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure they are free of debris, dust, and damage.
  • Ensures all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and p erform basic cleaning tasks such as washing, vacuuming, and window cleaning as needed.
  • Monitors tire pressure of vehicles, adds air and fuel as needed.
  • Prepares sold vehicles for delivery.
  • Maintains internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the vehicles, showroom, and parking lots.
  • Set up and remove displays and associated material for special events.
  • Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
  • Jump start vehicles if battery is discharged.
  • Parks vehicles in assigned areas.
  • Catalogs and stores vehicle keys in designated areas.
  • Assigns stock control numbers to vehicles.
  • Inspects vehicles for damage (dents and scratches) and missing of major components.
  • Inspects vehicles for loose or misaligned items such as trims, doors, and hardware.
  • Records discrepancies and informs PDI Assistant Manager or Sales Manager of any problems on a vehicle
  • Performs tasks written on the Service Check Sheet and/or assigned by the PDI department
  • Activates power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights, and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.
  • Ensures interior and exterior of the vehicle is clean (including engine, trunk fenders, etc.)
  • Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Reports to work on time everyday as scheduled.
  • Attends department meetings and trainings.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure
    • Valid Guam Driver’s License
