Atkins Kroll is looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our Service team. In this role, you will ensure a seamless service experience for customers by accurately assessing vehicle needs, recommending maintenance and repairs, and coordinating with technicians and dispatchers to deliver timely, high-quality service.
What you’ll do
• Greet customers in a timely and professional manner and obtain vehicle information
• Conduct vehicle inspections using diagnostic tools and visual assessments to identify maintenance and repair needs
• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues on repair orders
• Recommend services and repairs based on vehicle condition, manufacturer guidelines, and customer needs
• Test drive vehicles with customers when necessary to confirm concerns or coordinate with technicians for diagnosis
• Review service history and recommend additional maintenance as needed
• Educate customers on vehicle care and the importance of maintaining manufacturer specifications
• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for labor and parts
• Obtain customer approvals, signatures, and confirm payment methods
• Coordinate with dispatchers regarding incoming work and repair scheduling
• Monitor repair progress and communicate updates, changes in cost, or completion timelines to customers
• Review repair orders to ensure work is completed accurately and properly documented
• Explain completed repairs and final charges to customers upon vehicle delivery
• Ensure vehicles and keys are properly secured and organized
• Support quality control processes to minimize repeat repairs and improve customer satisfaction
• Attend department meetings, brand trainings, and perform other duties as assigned
About you
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of experience in the automotive industry preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
