SUMMARY

The Shuttle Driver/Porter position works alongside the Service department providing support in the movement of customers vehicles from the welcome area to the technician’s bays. The service driver/porter will also provide exceptional customer service by safely transporting service customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are turned in for service.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Safely transport customers to and from the dealership to designated locations, such as their homes or workplaces.
  • Maintains cleanliness and functionality of the shuttle vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues to management.
  • Retrieves newly services vehicles for customers.
  • Assists with service write-ups and tagging of customer vehicles.
  • Removes vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customers.
  • Inspects the vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning vehicles to the customers, reporting any damages immediately to management.
  • Keeps lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and other dealership staff to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of customers.
  • Returns vehicle keys to the appropriate designated area.
  • Assists with pick up of parts from the Parts Department.
  • Tests batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive.
  • Maintains building and grounds area as needed.
  • Assists with shop clean-up and deliveries as needed.
  • Maintains the hot/cold beverage and refreshment areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.
  • Adheres to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the shuttle vehicle, prioritizing the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
  • Reports to work everyday as scheduled.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure
    • Valid Guam Driver’s License
