We are looking for a Technical Training Instructor who is passionate about developing talent, advancing technical capability, and supporting workshop excellence. In this role, you’ll lead hands-on training, mentor technicians, and serve as a technical expert—helping elevate diagnostic accuracy, repair quality, and overall workshop performance.

What You’ll Do

Technical Training & Development

• Design and deliver structured technical training programs aligned with OEM standards
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training to enhance diagnostic and repair skills
• Assess technician capabilities and identify development opportunities
• Maintain training records, certifications, and development progress
• Develop training materials, job aids, and technical resources
• Coordinate OEM training requirements and certification programs

Hands-On Technical Support

• Provide direct support to technicians on complex diagnostics and repairs
• Guide proper diagnostic processes and repair techniques
• Act as a subject matter expert for advanced troubleshooting
• Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards

Workshop Collaboration

• Partner with the Workshop Manager to improve technician performance and workshop output
• Support onboarding and technical orientation for new hires
• Provide insights on technician development and skill gaps
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

About You

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology (preferred)
• 5+ years of automotive technician experience with strong diagnostic skills
• Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching technicians (preferred)
• Valid Guam Driver’s License
• ASE and/or OEM certifications (preferred)
