Atkins Kroll is looking for an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician II to join our Aftersales team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with limited supervision while ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
As an experienced technician, you will also support apprentice technicians, maintain high safety and quality standards, and help deliver reliable vehicle repairs and an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll do
- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose the causes of vehicle malfunctions and perform appropriate repairs
- Inspect assigned vehicles to identify additional safety, maintenance, or repair requirements
- Communicate with the Service Advisor when additional work is required, work is not necessary, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts
- Save and properly tag replaced parts when required for warranty claims or customer requests
- Accurately document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
- Road test vehicles as required or coordinate with the designated test technician
- Supervise and provide guidance to apprentice technicians when assigned
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, technical schools, and events
- Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, repair procedures, and vehicle technology
- Report equipment or machinery defects and malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain customer vehicles in clean and presentable condition throughout the repair process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Maintain and properly account for dealership-owned tools, equipment, and technical manuals
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and according to established procedures
- Immediately report safety concerns or hazards to management
- Attend departmental meetings, training, and events as required
- Maintain reliable attendance and report to work on time as scheduled
About you
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of automotive repair training and experience preferred
- ASE Certification required/preferred
- Valid Guam Driver’s License required
- Strong vehicle diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and fellow technicians
- Ability to mentor and support apprentice technicians
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and automotive repair regulations
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
