Our team is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Operations department. This role is responsible for safely transporting diesel fuel and trash container bins while ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and in compliance with company and safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to safety, and committed to providing excellent service while representing the company on the road.

What you’ll do

  • Safely operate roll-off trash trucks and diesel tanker trucks to transport products to various locations.
  • Deliver and pick up diesel and Trashco products in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time service.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to confirm vehicles are in proper working condition.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight and secure loads before transport.
  • Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
  • Monitor load conditions throughout trips to ensure safe transport.
  • Report delays due to traffic, road conditions, accidents, or equipment issues.
  • Complete and verify delivery documentation for accuracy.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and trucking regulations.
  • Follow all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures and wear required PPE
  • Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately

 

About you

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of truck driving experience, preferably operating diesel or trash trucks.
  • Valid Guam Class B Chauffeur’s Driver’s License.
  • Strong understanding of safe vehicle operation and transportation procedures.
  • Ability to monitor vehicle gauges and equipment performance during operation.
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and compliance with regulations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
  • Able to lift and move materials and perform medium physical work when needed.
