Our Record to Report department is seeking a Team Lead to join our team in BGC, Taguig. In this position you will be accountable for the Delivery of the in-scope processes in line with the Service Partnership Framework, for the assigned specialism(s) – Cash & Bank, Payroll Accounting, Month-End Close and Reconciliations.

 

Working with the Service Delivery Manager, Continuous Improvement team, Global Process Owners and Project Managers as part of the wider Global Finance Transformation team, the Team Leader will ensure effective process delivery, ensure process improvement opportunities are recorded and submitted to the appropriate forum(s), and ensure that Global Transformation Programmes are supported as required.

 

What you’ll do:

• Ensure delivery of in-scope services within the Service Partnership Framework, recognizing the importance of financial integrity, reporting accuracy and Group Deadlines within Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End processes.

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Coordinate with Order To Cash, Purchase To Pay, and Market finance functions to ensure completeness and integrity of reported results.

• Review and approve reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting documentation.

• Ensure compliance with (group, regional and market) policies, tax, legal, statutory, regulatory and fiscal requirements of each country to mitigate financial risks.

• Own and drive improvement projects across multiple complex and evolving business models.

• Have an understanding of the end-to-end process areas, the interdependencies with the wider team to optimize the end-to-end solution to a common business aligned viewpoint.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

• 5+ years’ experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader capacity. Experience in GBS / Shared Services, fast-moving consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, and experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment.

• Strong collaboration and partnership mindset, ability to work in a matrix organization.

• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) strongly preferred.

• Delivery focused mindset.

• Experience of complex, fragmented finance systems landscapes.
