About the role?
 

Autonexus provides centralised reconditioning, preparation, servicing and maintenance on all pre-owned vehicles for our customers in Inchcape’s retail sites which include Subaru, Peugeot & Citroen and Bravoauto.

As an Autonexus Reconditioning Technician you will be confident in conducting all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will also enjoy working on a variety of cars, have a professional attitude, and will ensure that the highest quality of service is maintained.

The duties and responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to the following:
 

• Deliver quality workmanship in the reconditioning and preparation of pre-owned vehicles for retail sale.
• Conduct vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance, and repair on a variety of makes and models.
• Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repair requirements.
• Utilising your technical knowledge to inspect the engine, transmission, and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Adhere to all procedures and electronic documentation requirements to ensure accuracy of  service metrics & KPI’s.
• Ensure all vehicle servicing logbooks are accurately completed and signed off.

Who are we looking for?

We are searching for someone who:

• Has a current Vehicle Mechanic Trade Qualification (minimum Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
• Has a current driver's licence.
• Has great organisational skills and the ability to work in a busy workshop environment.
• Is reliable and has a good work ethic.
• Enjoys working on a variety of makes and models with a customer first mindset.
• Is a great team player
