As a Service Assistant, you will act as a key member of our Aftersales team, ensuring a fantastic experience for all customers whilst servicing and repairing their vehicle with us. 
To excel within this role, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills when liaising with both internal and external customers, whether that be face to face, via email or over the phone.  
Our Service Assistants are able to work effectively as part of a team, to deliver outstanding results within a thriving and dynamic Aftersales department. In this role, you will act as an enabler for an exceptional Aftersales customer experience within your Retail Centre, supporting your team in key preparation activities, effective communication, and identifying opportunities for additional solutions for our customers.
Our Service Assistants will embrace and thrive in using digital initiatives, including offering key information and support to our customers in their vehicle lifecycle journey, including Audi Connect - the digital connection between driver, vehicle, and infrastructure.

Within the role of Service Assistant, you would be supported through the Audi manufacturer accreditation programmes, as well as internal development plans with Inchcape UK, supporting you in building a fulfilling career.
 
Main Responsibilities

• Effective and accurate preparation of all booked customer repair details (job cards) to support our Service Advisors and Technicians
• Checking manufacturer systems for manufacturer updates and recalls
• Making effective and informative ‘pre calls’ to customers with upcoming bookings, enabling a smooth and enjoyable customer experience
• Supporting and promoting digital options available to customers, including Audi Connect and online check in/pay
• Taking appointment calls and queries, including allocation of loan cars and collection and delivery services (where necessary)
• Supporting customers who walk in and require an appointment, providing quotations for repairs and servicing where required
• Champion and support effective communication and follow-up for all customers

 

The Ideal Candidate
• Effective communication skills
• Passion to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• A strong standard of verbal and numerical skills
• Computer literacy and experience with digital and online software and initiatives
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to adapt and work to prescribed timescales
• A team player, who will support and enable their team
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is desirable
