Purpose of role:

The Digital Systems Specialist will act as the primary support in online system development and digital transformation projects. This role focuses on the implementation of new technologies such as AI, digital marketing tools, and CRM systems, at both the Importer and Retailer levels. The primary objective is to enhance client experiences, streamline operations, and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.

Job role and responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Implementation of key JLR projects, ensuring their seamless integration with existing systems to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty and repurchase rates.
  • Automation & Optimization: Continuously explore, recommend, and integrate new digital tools and technologies to refine customer experience strategies. Drive measurable improvements in client engagement and retention by automating processes and optimizing digital workflows.
  • System Enhancement: Oversee the improvement and maintenance of CRM systems to better align with JLR's strategic goals and the unique needs of the Importer and Retailer network. Implement AI-driven solutions to anticipate customer needs and personalize client interactions.
  • Collaboration & Training: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Retailer personnel, to ensure the successful deployment of digital systems. Provide training and support to ensure effective use of these systems at all levels.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor the performance of digital systems. Generate reports and insights to guide decision-making, ensuring that digital initiatives contribute to overall business objectives.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all digital systems comply with industry regulations and JLR's security standards. Manage data privacy concerns and implement best practices for data security across all platforms.

SKILLS & EXPEREINCE:

  • Strong understanding and interesting of digital tools, CRM systems, AI technologies, and digital marketing strategies. Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. Analytical skills to assess system performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholder
  • Understanding of customer experience strategies and a commitment to enhancing client satisfaction through digital innovation.
  • Ability to stay updated on the latest digital trends and technologies, with a proactive approach to implementing relevant innovations
  • Preferable 2 years of experience in digital systems management within the automotive industry or a similar environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Certifications in project management or specific digital tools (e.g., AI, CRM systems) are a plus
