Purpose of Role:


To lead and oversee the successful delivery of digital projects within Inchcape JLR across Poland, Baltic and Finland by managing cross-functional virtual teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and maintaining project governance. The role ensures timely, budget-compliant, and quality-driven execution of initiatives through effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, proactive risk and scope management, and continuous improvement of project management practices. It also supports change management, ensures regulatory compliance, and serves as a key escalation point to remove barriers and drive strategic digital transformation across the region.

 

Job Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervision of project management across Inchcape JLR operations in Poland, Baltics, and Finland with special focus on their digital aspects
  • Leading virtual, cross-functional project teams spanning multiple countries.
  • Supporting project teams in project definition, approval, and prioritization processes.
  • Co-responsibility with business owners for project delivery in line with project charters, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
  • Supervision of regional project governance processes.
  • Coordination of project deliverables with internal partners (e.g., DDC, regional IT, JLR HQ) and external vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration across countries.
  • Continuous improvement of project management processes and team capabilities within the region.
  • Risk identification, mitigation, and scope management across multiple markets.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting status to stakeholders and regional leadership.
  • Leading negotiations with external project suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
  • Serving as the regional escalation point to remove barriers and resolve conflicts in project delivery.
  • Coordination and communication with Inchcape JLR boards and regional leadership on project performance.
  • Collaboration with the broader region on group-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Supporting change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of digital solutions.
  • Ensuring proper project documentation and knowledge sharing across markets.
  • Compliance with Inchcape policies, local laws, and regulations, including GDPR.

 

Critical Competencies for Success:

 

  • Highly Developed Project Management Skills: Proven experience leading complex digital and IT projects across multiple countries, with a strong track record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Advanced Digital and IT Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT processes, system architecture, systems integration, and digital implementation in a multi-market environment.
  • Technology Expertise: Practical experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and e-commerce systems, and proficiency in integrating AI solutions into digital projects.
  • Effective Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with both external vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve value-driven outcomes across multiple markets.
  • Strong Stakeholder Relationship Management: Builds and maintains effective working relationships with business owners, IT teams, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure alignment and support across Poland, the Baltics, and Finland.
