We are currently expanding our team with a new function. We are looking for a Estate & Facilities Manager to join our team.




The Estate & Facilities Manager plans, implements and follows up on all aspects of general and technical services within the organisation. The position will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies and plans for the HQ office, logistics and retail locations
  • Oversee space planning, office lay-out and furniture procurement to optimize space utilization and enhance employee productivity
  • Act as the first point of contact related to all facility-linked issues / problems / changes, make sure the necessary action is taken from an operational point of view and follow up
  • Follow up on running agreements related to buildings (exterior and interior) and general (technical) services (e.g. electricity, cleaning, …)
  • Develop and manage the facility budget, including cost estimation, expense control, and financial forecasting
  • Compare suppliers on service level, quality, terms & conditions and costs and – if necessary – (re-)negotiate contracts with external partners
  • Follow up on works on site and ensure they are carried out according to upfront-defined standards and specifications, and guarantee the quality of the technical installations and infrastructure
  • Take on the role of project leader in projects with regard to facilities
  • Look for optimizations regarding costs, energy, etc. Work on projects like for example “the road to zero emission”, make use of Inchcape growth to consolidate contracts with a limited number of suppliers
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and address facility-related issues or potential risks
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including building owners, subcontractors, employees, department heads, Procurement and external partners
  • Indirectly manage external partners like handymen or handywomen
  • Administratively manage contracts, Purchase Orders, invoices, etc. in the applicable Inchcape systems
  • Collaborate with the Health, Safety & Environment Specialist
  • Report to the HR Director and Operations Support Director




  • Bachelor degree or equal based on experience
  • Min. 3 years experience as a Facilities Manager, preferably in a multi-location setting
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, building systems and related regulations
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and tools
  • Knowledge of automotive industry facilities is a plus.

  • Fluent Dutch, French and English
