Our Toyota & Lexus Aftersales team is looking for a Service Expert to strengthen our operations. In this role, you will be a key technical reference for customers and colleagues, supporting both the service journey and the operational performance of the workshop. You will report directly to the Aftersales Supervisor and ensure full compliance with Toyota Service Management standards across the site.

What you’ll do

• Welcome service customers who are not received by Personal Advisors.
• Perform walk‑around checks, identify customer needs, and spot additional opportunities to support their vehicle’s maintenance.
• Provide clear and understandable explanations of technical issues and proposed work.
• Prepare and support the full aftersales process, including creating workshop orders and invoices.
• Secure complete and up-to-date customer and vehicle information, including GDPR consent.
• Manage service appointments (phone, email, OSB, or in person) and optimise planning across departments.
• Coordinate replacement vehicles, including documentation and handover.
• Support quality control throughout the customer journey and maintain high operational standards.
• Spot sales leads for new or used vehicles and direct customers to the appropriate Personal Advisor.
• Provide ad‑hoc technical support to the team when needed.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

• Passionate about the automotive industry and enthusiastic about Toyota & Lexus products and technologies.
• Skilled in explaining technical matters in a clear and customer-friendly way.
• Customer‑focused, communicative, and comfortable building rapport with different types of customers.
• A team player with a strong sense of ownership and service excellence.
• Motivated to offer additional products and services when relevant to the customer’s needs.
• Able to follow established standards and guidelines consistently.
• Technically strong, with advanced automotive knowledge; experience with Toyota & Lexus is a strong advantage.
• Capable of managing workload, appointments, and workshop capacity responsibly.
• Fluent in Dutch and French, with good operational knowledge of English.
