Sr. IT Business Manager

Our IT department is seeking a Sr. IT Business Manager to join our team in Zaventem. In this position you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering the IT roadmap for Belgium, aligning local needs with OEM, Global Digital and Inchcape Accelerate strategies. As the most senior IT leader in the Belgian market, this role partners with the Executive Team on IT strategy, budgeting and acts as the key escalation point for IT service and security matters. It also oversees local SAP, web support and project teams, while working within a wider regional and global IT structure to drive both local and international initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Strategy
  • Define and own a unified IT roadmap for the Belux market, aligned with OEM, Inchcape and local business priorities.
  • Keep the roadmap current, ensure funding alignment and drive adoption of Group, regional and OEM solutions over local alternatives.
  • Lead the Belux Digital Transformation business case in close partnership with local leadership and Global/Regional Digital/IT.
• Delivery
  • Deliver the transformation portfolio on time, on budget and to the required quality.
  • Ensure benefits are tracked and realised, and maintain a disciplined demand and governance process across the full project lifecycle.
  • Oversee Application Development and Support to safeguard and enhance critical business services.
  • Act as the senior accountable Digital/IT leader for Transformation, Service Delivery, IT General Controls and Cyber Security in the Belux market.

  • Provide leadership and accountability for the local SAP, Web Application and Project teams.
  • Maximise delivery efficiency through Regional Digital/IT, Global Platforms and Digital Delivery Centres.
• IT Relationship
  
  • Serve as the senior IT partner for the Belgium market and an active member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Identify and drive technology led opportunities that support OEM and Inchcape strategies.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

• Proven track record of building, communicating, and delivering IT strategies / roadmaps, delivering digital projects/transformation to a high standard
• Good understanding of service delivery and cyber security best practices
• Experience in People Management
• Proven track record of delivering in a complex international, matrix run, organisation.
• Greater than 5 years Senior IT management experience, working at an Executive team level.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all management levels including at Exec level.
• Trilingual (English, French and Dutch)
