What you'll do:
The Warranty Analyst supports the warranty operations by analysing claim data, validating submissions, ensuring compliance with policy guidelines, and assisting in reporting and cost control. This role plays a key part in identifying warranty trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement in dealer performance and warranty cost management.
Claim Validation & Processing
• Review incoming dealer warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy.
• Validate labour times, parts usage, and repair justifications based on technical documentation.
• Flag and escalate questionable or non-compliant claims to the Warranty Manager for further review.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyse warranty claim data to identify trends, recurring issues, and cost-impact areas.
• Prepare regular reports on claim volume, cost per unit, dealer performance, and top failure components.
• Monitor warranty KPI metrics such as claim turnaround time, rejection rate, and cost recovery.
Audit Support
• Assist in conducting periodic internal audits and dealer audits on warranty claims.
• Ensure traceability and documentation for warranty transactions and decisions.
• Support the Warranty Manager in maintaining records for compliance and accountability.
System & Process Management
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of claim data into the warranty system.
• Maintain the integrity of master data, including labour codes, parts prices, and coverage rules.
• Help identify system or process inefficiencies and suggest improvements for smoother operations.
Cross-functional Coordination
• Work closely with the Technical Support, Parts, and Dealer Support teams to resolve claim-related inquiries.
• Provide feedback to dealers on claim errors, documentation gaps, and improvement areas.
• Support training materials or workshops by contributing analytical insights and field examples.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Familiarity with warranty claims, dealer systems, or service platforms is a plus.
• Experience with DMS/warranty claim systems or ERP platforms.
• Understanding of automotive components, repair processes, and warranty policies.
• Good communication and follow-up abilities when interacting with dealers and internal stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4 - 6 years of experience in warranty, service administration, data analysis, or automotive operations.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas), and comfortable with data analysis tools.
