Our Logistics team is seeking an Operations Supervisor Hub Center to join our team in Inchcape Panama. In this position you will supervise daily operations of the Free Zone inventory at the Inchcape Hub Center, ensuring efficiency, accurate inventory control, and high service levels for both local and regional dispatches.
What you’ll do
- Supervise daily warehouse activities for Free Zone inventory: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of parts.
- Ensure adherence to service levels, delivery times, and quality standards for Free Zone stock.
- Monitor Free Zone inventory under customs control, ensuring correct classification and traceability.
- Support import, re-export, and local dispatch operations of Free Zone stock in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal warehouse procedures and safety standards specific to Free Zone operations.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and tasks for warehouse staff handling Free Zone inventory.
- Report operational issues, delays, or discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
- Support the training and development of warehouse team members.
- Maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP and support inventory audits for Free Zone stock.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives suggested by management for Free Zone operations.
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll be
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supervising daily warehouse operations (minimum 3–5 years preferred), ideally within Free Zone or special customs regimes.
- Experience managing inventory, order picking, packing, and dispatch, particularly for Free Zone stock.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
- Familiarity with Free Zone customs procedures and regulations (Panamá Pacífico).
- Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
