Our Logistics team is seeking an Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Inchcape Panama. In this position you will lead the operations of the Vehicle Parts Distribution Center (Inchcape Hub Center), ensuring operational efficiency, inventory control, high service levels, and compliance with the special customs regime of Panamá Pacífico, supporting both local and regional re-export operations. 

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily distribution center operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of parts.
• Ensure service levels, delivery times, and quality standards are met.
• Manage inventories under customs control, differentiating between Panamá Pacífico, nationalized, and re-exported goods.
• Coordinate import, re-export, and local dispatch operations in compliance with Panamá Pacífico regulations.
• Ensure compliance with the regulations of the National Customs Authority of Panama.
• Manage relationships with customs agents, logistics operators, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure complete traceability between physical inventory, WMS/ERP, and customs records.
• Lead and develop the operational and supervisory team of the Hub Center.
• Define and monitor key operational, logistics, and customs performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and optimize distribution center processes and layout.
• Ensure compliance with safety, order, and documentation standards.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll be

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years leading operations in distribution centers, warehouses, or logistics platforms.
• Proven experience in inventory management, dispatch operations, and team leadership.
• Experience with special customs regimes, Free Zones, or Panamá Pacífico operations (highly desirable).
• Experience with SAP EWM for advanced warehouse management, inventory control, picking, and dispatch.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
