Sr. Specialist Quality Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

New Model Project Management:

• Monitor project activities related to axle assembly for new models, ensuring projects remain on track.
• Develop and manage layout, station lists, documentation, tools, and equipment for new model projects.
• Coordinate project progress internally and with external vendors.
• Distribute assembly documents to production, quality, logistics, and other relevant teams, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and contribute to strategic decisions.
• Track and ensure the achievement of KPI targets for each project.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, ergonomics, and safety.

Production Process Planning:

• Plan and oversee the assembly process to meet OEM standards for all vehicle models.
• Define layout, tools, facilities, equipment, and software for production assembly.
• Ensure appropriate material allocation for assembly lines.
• Develop and implement assembly work instructions and ensure process adherence.
• Coordinate the implementation of regular and irregular changes related to tools, jigs, fixtures, and documentation.
• Plan and manage jigs, tools, and manpower requirements to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain and update assembly documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate problem-solving analysis for axle assembly lines.
• Ensure quality assurance before delivering to the next production stage or customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments for process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive company as a process planner for vehicle assembly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Strong ability to work effectively in teams and manage cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to express ideas clearly.
• Technical expertise in tools, equipment, tightening, safety standards, and ergonomic considerations.
• Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills & Competencies:

• Software Proficiency:
  • Intermediate level MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Access)
  • AutoCAD & 3D Design software
• Regulatory & Industry Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Eco Industry standards.
• Language Proficiency:
  • English (mandatory)
