About the role

Reporting to the Retail Centre Manager and based at our Trivett Automotive Retail site in Artarmon, the Customer Experience Specialist Trainee plays a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging vehicle sales journey. You will be representing Subaru, as a trusted advisor, supporting customers both in-store and online from their first enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up.

In this role you will be responsible for learning, developing and implementing the various functions of a Customer Experience Specialist, whilst displaying the exceptional standards of customer service to ensure that Trivett Automotive Retail is the most customer centric automotive retailer in Australia.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and develop product knowledge to deliver comprehensive and informative demonstrations to customers.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service for in-store queries, supporting the team in addressing questions about vehicles, aftermarket products, and financial services.
  • Learn and develop the ability to clearly explain product benefits and features to build strong customer relationships, using interpersonal skills, asking clarifying questions, and anticipating customer needs.
  • Help to prepare and process sales contracts as needed.
  • Assist with customer trade-ins and document processing on delivery day.

You will bring a balance of sales drive and genuine care, always aiming to deliver above expectations.

 You will also bring:

  • Strong interest or experience in sales, retail and/or automotive industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital platforms.
  • Availability to work Saturdays (with a weekday off in lieu).
