What’s the opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team.

 

As a Supply Chain Manager you will play a pivotal role in optimising our supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end  supply chain activities, undertake in-depth analysis of operational and finance performance, identifying trends and operational issues, recommending solutions that will contribute to the improved operation, efficiency and profitability of the business.

 

Reporting into the Finance Director - Australasia, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Systems: Oversee and manage the master data team and Subaru/Peugeot Citroen streams ensuring you drive improvements
  • Operations: Take ownership of the entire vehicle production order process, reporting, finance and vehicle freight movements analysis and reconciliation, oversee the loading of vehicle shipments, manage suppliers
  • Stakeholder Extraordinaire: Nurture strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your influence to drive continuous improvement
  • Leadership: Manager and develop the operations, stock control and master data teams. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

About you

To be successful in the role, you will:

  • Have extensive experience in a similar role
  • Have demonstrated experience and expertise managing internal and external stakeholders, and multiple tasks, in an agile environment.
  • Have knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Have studied Supply Chain Management/Logistics
  • Have a strong understanding of supply chain principles
  • Have demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive process improvements and achieve measurable results
  • Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
